Description
WKF-LUGB vortex flow meter is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, heat, textile, paper and other industries for superheated steam, saturated steam, compressed air and general gases (oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen, natural gas, coal gas, etc.), water and liquids (such as: water, gasoline, alcohol, benzene, etc.) measurement and control.
Principle
When a bluff vortex generator (choke body) is installed in the fluid, two regular rows of vortices are alternately generated from both sides of the vortex generator. This vortex is called Karman vortex. According to the Karman vortex street principle, the flow rate in the tube is obtained, and the flow rate in the tube is calculated.
Features
- No moving parts, long-term stability, simple structure and easy installation and maintenance;
- The output of the sensor is pulse frequency, which is linear with the actual flow rate of the fluid being measured. The zero point has no drift. The performance is very stable. There are various structural forms, including pipe-inserted flow sensors;
- High accuracy, usually the measurement accuracy of liquids is ± 1%; the measurement accuracy of gases is ± 1.5%;
- The measurement range is wide, reaching 1:20 in the range of Reynolds numbers from 2x104 to 7x106;
- Small pressure loss (about 1/4 to 1/2 of that of orifice flow meters), belonging to energy-saving flow meters;
- The installation method is flexible. Depending on the different process pipes on site, it can be installed horizontally, vertically and tilted at different angles;
- It adopts interference cancellation circuit and anti-vibration sensor head, which has certain anti-environmental vibration performance;
- Using ultra-low-power single-chip microcomputer technology, a 3V10AH lithium battery can be used for more than 5 years;
- The non-linearity of the instrument coefficient is corrected by software to improve measurement accuracy;
- EEPROM is used to protect accumulated flow from power failure, and the protection time is longer than 10 years.
